coloured in her

But miles away in the busy city of Mumbai there was a full-blown family-cum-accusation session going on in the Singhaniya Mansion where Mrs Swati singhaniya was giving orders to her eldest son Akshat singhaniya "Akshu you are going to vrindavan tomorrow morning."

"But maa"

"No buts .Your flight is at 4 a.m "

" you will go to the banke bihari temple offer the offerings i am giving you, especially the letter. it has my wish. and you will do this in a dhoti and gamcha"

"But maa you know I am not a temple person at all and it's holi time and you know I hate holi can you send vivan "

"Akshat. thats an order"

"Huff ok who in this world can say no to Mrs Swati Singhania"

Then Akshat went to his room and called his best friend harsh he was talking to him and telling him that he is coming to vrindavan tomorrow when he heard the voice of a girl on phone

And there was something about that voice that stayed.

It was Soft not loud, not dramatic… just enough to make him pause.

And Akshat Singhania didn’t pause for anyone.

then harsh said shristi and the girl replied

"han bhiya"

Hearing that name he couldn't help but repeat

“Shristi…” he murmured under his breath, as if testing it.

Strange. Why did it feel familiar?

he tried to brush it off.

but it just stayed there.

and when he went to sleep, her voicekept echoing in his ears again and again in a loop but he wasn't frustrated he was confused but he slept anyway the next day he woke up at 3 am got ready and took the flight the entire flight he felt an strange urgency as if he was in a hurry to go somewhere but the plane was too slow and as soon as he steppd into vrindavan his restlessness increased mixed with frustration now as he couldn't understand why he felt that way and he headed towards his hotel he took some rest in the hotel freshened up and searched in youtube how to wear a dhoti as per his mom's directions and got ready and went to the banke Bihari temple with the offerings as soon as he stepped into the temple

He felt… off.

Like he had forgotten something important—but couldn’t remember what.

but he ignored it and offered the offerings and the letter to god took blessings and came and he was really hungry but all the restaurants were closed there due to holi so he had no other option but to eat in a street stall he went to eat in the stall and was eating when he felt a gaze on him a intense gaze he turned and looked at that direction and his heart started beating like crazy and he saw a pair of big chocolate brown expressive eyes with a depth of space and the shine of stars her medium-length black hair kept on flying like her  wings  and she was tucking them behind her ears but soon she turned and left

Shristi's pov-

I was eating pani puri after Darshan in banke Bihari temple and then I saw a very handsome boy was eating Dhokla at a nearby stall he was wearing dhoti gamcha which was very odd for today's jeneration and had such a good back and as a supportive person i am i was admiring his hard work and then he turned he turned and i had to go with my brothers to play holi (uff the timing)

and i was having the time of my life-colors, music, everything perfect-

when I saw that Dhokla guy agin.

Standing in a corner.

No color.

Looking painfully boring.

Oh, this was too good to ignore.

I got a mischievous idea and i started Grinning to myself, I grabbed a packet of red gulal and sneaked behind him.

But-

Wait.

Why is he so tall?!

I couldn't even reach his shoulder properly. Even after standing at my toes "hulk kahen ka"

I looked around... spotted a chair... and climbed onto it.

Perfect.

Without wasting another second, I showered him in red. Grinning ear to ear in my mischief

Akshat's pov-

After that stall moment i was going to my hotel but got lost in the narrow lanes and reached a place where a lot of people were playing holi and got stuck there so I was standing in the corner utterly bored and regretting coming here

and then‐

someone showered me with colour

I muttered wo the...

but as soon as I tured Intending to make this holi unforgettable for that person

I froze words died in my throat anger fled as if it never existed and I forgot to blink because i was seeing that same cute girl from that stall standing in front of me covered in colours mischef spiling from her eyes all happy with a big smile in her face looking like a sunshine

seeing her it felt as if the time has stopped and everything else became a blur I couldn't look or think any thing except her then she said

"Aise kya dekh rahe ho jese kabhi koi sundar ladki hi nahi deki "

"creep"

"kya matlab handsam ho achi body hai matlab ladkiyan ghune ka license mil gaya kya"

"ye sare ladke 1 jese he hote hain"

"haw dekho too abhi bhi kese dekh raha hai"

" baat hi karna bekar hai"

But she looks so cute while scolding me

i was so lost that i forgot that i should’ve been annoyed.

Anyone else—i would’ve shut them up in seconds.

But this girl—standing on a chair, covered in colors, yelling at me like i was some roadside idiot—

And i just… watched.

Akshat singhaniya who ruled the board rooms in the age of 21 was speechless today by looking at a girl who was scolding me standing in a chair

I was just staring at her

And before I could gather myself she got down from the chair went towards the crowd and as soon as i tried to follow her she got disappeared in the crowd
